Have you seen the beautiful banners along Park Boulevard? Look for them on the streetlights next time you travel the Glenview's main drag. (Smaller versions of the "Piedmont" and "Glenview" banners appear on GlenviewNeighbors.com.) The City of Oakland installed them years ago and nowadays they need some spiffing up. But posting new banners is just one of the many improvement projects the Glenview Neighborhood Association has underway. Here are other ongoing efforts:

•   Park Boulevard median garden
•   Mayor's Annual Toy Drive
•   GNA operating costs
•   Web site maintenance
